The aim of these workshops is to exchange views and build capacity on the lessons learned on and future possibilities for environmental tax reform, with a view to unlock financing for biodiversity and sustainable land use.

Target audience: experts, members of civil society (e.g. NGOs) and decision-makers.

Topics discussed: opportunities and barriers to the use of economic instruments, methods of engagement, windows of opportunity to engage, and designing instruments to improve their acceptability

The workshop will be an interesting opportunity for you to meet and discuss with people working on similar issues in other EU countries.

Please note that there are some funding available to cover the cost of travel and hotels for some workshop participants.
